Cleethorpes & District Swimming Club is delighted to announce it has once again been successful in achieving Amateur Swimming Association Swim21 Accreditation and has done so since 2004.
The club first started on the Swim21 pathway in 2000 registering with the programme. We were one of the first clubs to do so. Our first file of evidence was submitted in 2004 and Cleethorpes & District Swimming Club was awarded Skill Development Level. Within two years and following a lot of hard work the Club then achieved Competitive and Teaching Level. In the early days a file of evidence for each level had to be
compiled to show the club was working to a set criteria. This had to be submitted
every 4 years with an Annual update on the years between.
The scheme has changed in recent years with all submission of evidence now being made online, which is then approved at Regional and National Level.
2013 saw a major change in the Swim21 Programme with the introduction of the Essential Level. CADS met the requirements of this new programme in 2015 and has been successful in achieving it ever since.
