Values and aims
CADS is a friendly and supportive club with the aim to provide a positive swimming experience for everyone, at all levels within the sport. The club aims to provide the right training from the learn to swim stage all the way through to National level swimmers. It has a highly-qualified coaching and teaching team, with experience in developing swimmers at all levels We aim to help everyone reach their full potential whatever their starting point.
Marc Butcher Msc (Strength and conditioning), BSc hons (Coaching and Physical Education)
Marc is a level 3 competitive swimming coach, along with a level 2 teacher and level 1 waterpolo coach. He has had experience of coaching and teaching at all levels from non swimmers through to national swimmers. During his time as a coach Marc has guided several swimmers to British and Home nation level, with many medals at county and regionals levels. Whilst at his previous club he helped guide the team to a 2nd place overall in the 2017/2018 county championship.
I am very excited to be part of this amazing team of coaches and swimmers. My aim is to help CADS be one of the strongest teams in Lincolnshire, through the determination and dedication of both the coaches and swimmers working together.
Debbie Lansley-Hogg- Level 2 Swimming Coach and Official. Worked with CADS for over 12 years now. Previously she was a head coach for a British International School in Saudi Arabia.
Sheila Houghton– Level 2 Teach, Level 2 Coach and Swim England Full Official. Many years of experience working with swimmers from all ages and abilities, with a real passion to help everyone reach their potential.
Chris Paine – Level 2 Swimming Teacher and Swim England Judge. Has been involved with CADS since 1986 and has held many different roles within the club.
Zach Clarke– Level 2 Coach, Level 2 Teacher, and Rookie Lifeguard instructor. Zach is an ex CADS swimmer with a passion of giving backs to the sport and club he loves.
